Bihar is celebrating 113 years of being an independent state. However, an iconic dish from the state has often won the hearts of people and Bollywood actor Aamir Khan made it even more famous.

Bollywood's perfectionist, Aamir Khan, is a self-proclaimed fan of Litti Chokha. In fact, Aamir Khan played a significant role in popularizing Litti Chokha, introducing it to a wider audience and cementing its place in India's culinary landscape.

During his previous trips to Patna, Aamir Khan stopped by a roadside stall to enjoy Bihar's signature dish. Khan's visit to the stall showcased his appreciation for the local cuisine, particularly his fondness for Litti Chokha.

The actor admitted, "It is known for its unique taste. I love to eat Litti Chokha." However, the shop owner shared that Aamir Khan had previously visited the stall in 2012, and that visit had increased the fame of the shop, bringing in a surge of new customers.

The owner said, "Many people come here to taste Litti Chokha and ask what Aamir Khan ate.” Aamir's visit made Litti Chokha extremely popular, attracting food lovers from everywhere and making it a dish everyone wants to try.

The actor’s visit sparked a nationwide interest in Litti Chokha, with many people outside Bihar trying the dish for the first time. Street vendors started using his name and images to promote their stalls, while celebrities like Vicky Kaushal and Kartik Aaryan also jumped on the trend.
