The countdown is finally over, and enthusiasm is already at an all-time high as the reality show Bigg Boss 19 prepares to debut on Sunday, August 24. Salman Khan is back as the host, and the producers have been releasing teasers one after the other, leaving fans wondering who will be in the house this year.
Salman Khan disclosed a major surprise in this year's theme in the trailer, revealing that Gharwalon ki Sarkaar will be included in season 19, signifying a dramatic change of power within the household. In addition, he cautioned everyone to prepare for ‘too much fun’.
Salman, surrounded by Black Cat commandos and wearing a dapper Nehru jacket, embodies the power-play at the core of this year's theme with his signature blend of charm and authority in the teaser.
ThemeApparently, there are reports that the theme this year will be REWIND and will have certain elements of the previous seasons. The contestants will be divided into the two groups of political parties and an election will be held which will decide the leader of the house. Later, ministers will be appointed.
In line with the season’s theme, Gharwalon ki Sarkaar, there will also be an assembly room where contestants will be challenged to confront opposing views, negotiate authority, and prove their ability to lead or stand their ground.
Not only that, there is a strong buzz that the makers have planned to take the game a notch higher by bringing it friends, rivals, exes and co-stars which will add more spice to the reality show.
ContestantsThe competitors for this season are Amaal Mallik, Gaurav Khanna, Ashnoor Kaur, Polish actress Natalia Janoszek, Awez Darbar, Nagma Mirajkar, Shehbaz Badesha, Zeeshan Qadri, Baseer Ali, Nehal Chudasama, Abhishek Bajaj, Tanya Mittal, Atul Kishan, Kunickaa Sadanand, Pranit More, Neelam Giri and Mridul Tiwari.

Famed art director Omung Kumar created the Bigg Boss house. JioHotstar will broadcast the grand debut on August 24 at 9:00 p.m. and the TV transmission will follow at 10:30 p.m.
