Bigg Boss 19 Day 4: kunickaa and Gaurav locks horns, while Ashnoor, Abhishek and Kunickaa clashes to become the First Captain.

Bigg Boss Episode 5 began with Captaincy davedaari task. As the “Bachon ki awaaz” played, contestants gathered around the round table. Bigg Boss explained that after each nursery rhyme, numbers would flash on different “houses,” and only the flashed number of contestants could enter each house.

Baseer Ali, who was earlier removed from captaincy contention by Farhana, was made the sanchalak of the task. His role: decide which “house” to eliminate in first round.

From the start, strategies and alliances began forming. Housemates whispered plans, while some, like Gaurav, sat alone, quietly plotting.

Captaincy Davedaari Task

Round 1: Numbers 5, 3, 2, and 4 flashed. In Flash number 2 room were Amaal and Mridul. Baseer struck early, removing both Amaal and Mridul from the race. His main plan? Not letting Gaurav or Abhishek become captain.

Round 2: The numbers flashed 3,3,3,3. Baseer, Amaal and Mridul now targeted Awez, Natalia, and Nagma, eliminating them from the task.

Round 3: Numbers 3, 2, 3, and 1 flashed on the houses. This time, the the eliminated contestants decided to remove Neelam, ending her chances.

Round 4: The rhyme played again, and the screen flashed 2,2,2,2. The already eliminated contestants targeted Pranit and Tanya Mittal. Both were removed from captaincy.

Round 5 (Final): Numbers 3,0,0,3 appeared. The outside players made their biggest move yet, eliminating Gaurav, Nehal, and Zeishan.

With that, the task ended, leaving Ashnoor, Abhishek, and Kunickaa as the final three captaincy contenders.

Confrontations and Emotional Breakdowns

After the task, sparks flew again. Zeishan confronted Awez for taking his name to remove from captaincy davedaari because of Zeishan personal behavior with Gaurav.

Meanwhile, Tanya had an emotional breakdown, clutching her teddy bear as she cried, “Do din se bartan hi kar rahi hoon (I've been washing dishes for two days now),” saying she was unwell and missing her mother.

Later, Tanya entered a conversation between Gaurav and Kunickaa, fueling doubts. She hinted that Kunickaa’s closest bond was with Gaurav, but Gaurav said he wanted Ashnoor as captain behind Kunickaa’s back. This created a rift, and Gaurav told Kunickaa she was too “soft” to lead. Tanya’s “aag mein ghee dalna” strategy seemed to work.

Gaurav vs. Kunickaa Rift Grows

Tensions escalated when Amaal revealed to Kunickaa that Gaurav was allegedly telling housemates not to vote for her in captaincy.

The fight spilled into the bedroom, where Kunickaa told Gaurav: “Don’t call me mummy if you can’t respect it. I’m a fool, I’m angry with myself.”

While the fight between Kunickaa and Gaurav continued to next day, Kunickaa saying "ek ne toh khanjar jhok diya (One has already stabbed a dagger)."

Morning Banter, But Fights Continue

The next day began on a lighter note as contestants danced to “Tadad Tadad.” But soon, another food fight erupted between Nehal and Abhishek over portions.

Amaal had some comic moments with Bigg Boss, jokingly asking: “Wake me in 15 minutes,” only for BB to play the cuckoo sound in 3 minutes.

He also narrated a personal story of being called by a girl before going on stage for concert, who said to him, “If you come now, I’ll not marry.”

Meanwhile, Tanya expressed her ambitions: “I want to get into politics and be in the top 100 Indian business.”

The Final Captaincy Task

Bigg Boss then revealed the final captaincy face-off between Kunickaa, Abhishek, and Ashnoor. BB added a twist: every housemate would support by coloring tiles for their choice and give them to person who they wants to support. But, the contenders could flip each other’s tiles endlessly. Tanya was made the sanchalak, and BB confirmed: “Tanya ka faisla antim hoga.”

-Kunickaa chose Baseer as her proxy.

-Ashnoor and Abhishek played themselves.

The garden turned into a battlefield. Baseer (for Kunickaa) and Ashnoor clashed fiercely, flipping tiles back and forth. Abhishek struggled, with almost no support. Things turned heated as Baseer and Abhishek got physical, forcing Tanya to intervene: “Abhishek, don’t get physical.”

At one point, Kunickaa lost her cool at Abhishek: “Tu mujhpe aa, do lappad marungi. Shut up! (You come on me, I will slap you twice. Shut up).”

As the episode ended, Ashnoor’s green tiles seemed to dominate — but with Tanya holding the final power as sanchalak, the first captain of Bigg Boss 19 remained uncertain.

Looking Ahead

Will Tanya play fair, or will her personal grudges with Ashnoor sway the result? Viewers will find out in the next explosive episode.
