Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas booked for misbehaving with constable; action taken against the actor

Telugu actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas found himself in hot water after allegedly flouting traffic rules and getting into a spat with a traffic constable in Hyderabad. The incident reportedly took place on May 13 at the Journalists’ Colony Junction in Jubilee Hills, where the actor was said to be driving on the wrong side of the road.

Telugu actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas has landed in trouble after reportedly violating traffic rules and misbehaving with a traffic police constable in Hyderabad. The incident occurred on May 13 at the Journalists’ Colony Junction in Jubilee Hills when the actor was allegedly driving his car on the wrong side of the road.

He is said to have driven past the traffic policeman who stopped him on seeing his car coming in the wrong direction and ordered him to drive in the reverse direction, take a turn and follow the right route. A case of rash driving and obstructing a public servant from carrying out his duties has been registered against him by the Jubilee Hills police.

The Jubilee Hills Police Inspector, to the media, said the following about the development, “A case has been registered against actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas on the 13th of this month for breaking the rules and misconduct with traffic policies. We have issued a notice and sent it to him.” The actor has not responded to the allegations.

Who is Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas?

The film is produced by Bellamkonda Sreenivas, and is the son of a Telugu film producer Bellamkonda Suresh and also his younger brother Bellamkonda Ganesh. A graduate of the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles and the Barry John Acting Studio in Mumbai, Sreenivas is also trained in martial arts and stunts.

He made his acting debut in 2014 with Alludu Seenu and went on to appear in other films such as Jaya Janaki Nayaka, Sita, and Rakshasudu, a remade version of the Tamil film Ratsasan, which won him acclaim from critics. He then appeared in his Bollywood film debut through the Hindi remake of Chatrapathi in 2023 but it failed at the box office.

Upcoming projects

However, moving ahead amidst all odds is Sreenivas who is still in professional pursuit. He also has a few movies in his kitty such as Bhairavam, Tyson Naidu, Haindava and Kishkindhapuri. As the case plays out in the court, it is impossible to know what the actor's career and impending releases will have in the face of this.
