Prime Video has switched the lights back on in Beast City and confirmed that Beast Games season two will premiere on January 7, 2026. The streamer revealed the date along with the first official look at the new version of the game arena, signalling that the record-breaking competition series is returning in a much bigger and sharper form. The first three episodes will drop together on launch day, with new episodes releasing weekly until the finale on February 25.
The show’s comeback follows a massive first season that turned Beast Games into Prime Video’s most-watched unscripted title, pulling in 50 million viewers within 25 days. With that kind of momentum, the second season is designed to raise the intensity on every front. This time, the concept is built around Strong vs Smart. Creator and host Jimmy Donaldson, widely known as MrBeast, has handpicked two groups: 100 of the strongest competitors and 100 of the smartest minds. They will enter Beast City to fight for a life-changing five million dollar prize.
What this sets up is a season driven by clashes of instinct and strategy. While one team leans on physical dominance, the other shapes its moves through logic and calculation. Prime Video says the new challenges are tougher, faster, and built to push both types of players beyond their limits. As the contest progresses, alliances will shift and pressure will expose weaknesses, turning Beast City into a battleground where trust is as important as raw ability.
Donaldson returns not only as host but also as executive producer. The series is co-created by Sean Klitzner, Tyler Conklin, and Mack Hopkins. Klitzner and Matt Apps continue as showrunners, with a large producing team that includes Michael Cruz, Jeff Housenbold, Tyler Conklin, Michael Miller, Josh Kulic, and Chris Keiper. Conklin directs the season once again. Beast Games will stream in more than 240 countries and territories, reinforcing its place as one of Prime Video’s biggest global properties.
The newly released images reveal an upgraded Beast City glowing with neon structures, sprawling sets, and mechanical builds that look far more intricate than last season. The scale suggests that season two isn’t just bigger; it’s aiming for a complete spectacle. With the competition expanding and the prize money at an all-time high, Beast Games looks set to push its contestants, and its audience, into a whole new level of excitement.
