The sequel of the blockbuster hit film Jailer is being awaited and now it’s going to be a bigger one as it’s officially confirmed that Nandamuri Balakrishna will play a cameo role in the movie. The inclusion of the Telugu superstar will make an even more robust pan-Indian canvas for the film.
Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer was a massive hit, and it not only brought back Rajinikanth’s mass presence at the box office but also for the numerous cameos in it. The presence of Shivrajkumar, Mohanlal and Jackie Shroff was the key to ensuring the film had a multi-regional pull. And now, the second part of the film is set to be bolder – with Balakrishna doing an interesting cameo in it.
Even during the first part, gossip about Balakrishna being part of Jailer was making the rounds, and things didn't turn out at that time. The latest we hear from the close circles is that the actor has signed Jailer 2 and his character is said to be shaped up quite differently and powerfully.
Director Nelson, who is also working with Jr NTR for his next film, is now channelling his efforts to make sure Jailer 2 lives up to the first film. Making the news more exciting, Shivrajkumar is already onboard for the sequel and we can expect more high-octane moments for the fans.

And with Balakrishna on board, Jailer 2 is set to be an epic big-budget crossover movie bringing together fans from different parts of South India. If the cameo works, it could even lead to a full-fledged Balakrishna-Nelson collaboration and it’s a combo that’s already causing ripples among the fans.
While the production rolls out, the key focus will be on how this magnum opus ensemble changes the game and sets the stage for an already eagerly anticipated sequel in Indian cinema.
