Aryan Khan begins dubbing for The Bads of Bollywood under high security

Shah Rukh Khan's eldest son, Aryan Khan, was recently seen arriving at a dubbing studio on Thursday night while being closely watched by a security detail.

With The Bads of Bollywood, an upcoming Netflix original series, the young filmmaker is getting ready for his eagerly awaited entertainment industry debut.

In a now-viral video posted by a paparazzi, Aryan can be seen getting out of a sleek, high-end vehicle while wearing a basic yet fashionable black t-shirt and trousers.

Aryan hurried into the studio without stopping to pose for pictures, surrounded by a security detail that made sure there was a clear route through the crowd. When fans outside saw him, they cheered enthusiastically, but Aryan stayed calm and kept a low profile, obviously focused on the task at hand.

The Bads of Bollywood, a high-stakes comedy-drama that follows an ambitious outsider and his group of friends as they navigate the frequently unpredictable and chaotic terrain of the Hindi film industry, is expected to make a daring debut on streaming services. The program promises to reveal Bollywood's inner workings in a humorous and perceptive manner.

Speaking on Nikhil Kamath’s WTF podcast, Netflix’s co-CEO Ted Sarandos shared his enthusiasm for the project. “It’s very fun. I’ve watched the first two episodes so far. It’s very funny. People in India and across the world know little about the inner workings of Bollywood, so it’s a really fun world to explore. Aryan Khan is a very good director.”

The project, which is supported by Red Chillies Entertainment and produced by Gauri Khan, assembles a formidable creative team that includes executive producers Akshat Verma and Bonnie Jain. In addition to being the show's creator and director, Aryan has worked with Manav Chauhan and Bilal Siddiqi, who are also co-creators and writers.

The Bads of Bollywood, which is slated for release in 2025, is already generating buzz because of Aryan's heritage as well as his potential as a new and focused storytelling voice.
