RCB’s long-awaited IPL win has turned into a national celebration. It marked the end of an 18-year-long drought, making it even more special for the team and their ardent supporters. “She’s been coming here and supporting RCB since 2014, so it’s been 11 years for her as well,” Kohli shared during a heartfelt post-match interview. “She’s seen the highs and the lows, the near-misses and heartbreaks. The kind of support and belief she’s shown is something only a life partner can give. Words aren’t enough,” he added, with tears in his eyes.
The touching moment between the couple went viral, with a clip showing Anushka running into Virat’s arms after the final match. She was seen wiping his tears as they embraced, a gesture that moved fans across the country.

Veteran actor Suniel Shetty penned an emotional tribute on Instagram, writing, “18 years. Countless runs. Infinite belief. And… destiny finally wore Red. Virat Kohli — the man who gave IPL its fiercest roar — finally lifts the trophy he’s chased with heart, fire and soul. This isn’t just a win. It’s a love story sealed with glory.”
