Bollywood actress and wife of Indian skipper, Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma took to her Instagram stories and reposted Ashwin's video and described his career as "a lasting legacy."
Singham Again fame, Arjun Kapoor also shared a picture of the Indian bowler from one of his celebratory on-ground moments and wrote, "To the man who gave us moments to celebrate, matches to remember, and pride that can't be measured. Ravichandran Ashwin announced his retirement from international cricket on Wednesday, shortly after the conclusion of the third Test in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia at the Gabba.
