Anupamaaa episode update August 16: Anupamaaa and the Dancing Rani’s are accused of theft; get disqualified from the dance competition

Rahi is asked by Pakhi to keep her on the team. Rahi claims she wants to succeed due to her talent rather than dishonesty.

Anupamaaa finds out in today's episode that Sarita's theft footage is going viral.  According to Sarita, they could be disqualified because everyone is talking about them.  She is concerned about how she will handle such an accusation when she returns to Mumbai.

Sarita is pleased by Anupamaa, who also questions how the footage was leaked.  As he tapes them, Preet informs Anupamaa that Paritosh released the video.  Rita tells Anupamaa that they are being referred to as robbers by the media. Both Anupamaa and the dance ranis are accused.

Manohar requests that Paritosh be honest.  The women yell that the dance ranis are robbers despite Anupamaa's attempts to clarify that her squad is not composed of criminals.  Anupamaa stands up for her group.  Additionally, Bharti requests that Paritosh be honest.  Considering Pakhi and the Kotharis, Paritosh chooses to say nothing.

The tournament disqualifies Anupamaa's team.  Anupamaa objects, stating that they cannot be eliminated based on partial truths, and she once more requests that Paritosh speak the truth.  Anupamaa is informed by Paritosh that he did not take the video.  Anupamaa is shocked and wonders about the person behind this act.  After the jewellery was discovered with Pakhi, Paritosh explains, he stopped recording.

Prem becomes enraged upon hearing the news.  Khyati and Vasundhara are pleased that Anupamaa's team was eliminated.  This is incorrect, according to Pari.  Raja shows Prem something.  Anupamaa is urged to act by Preet.  Pakhi says that Anupamaa cannot make her give the media the truth, thus she declines when Anupamaa begs her to do so.  Anupamaa is taken aback.

Khyati asserts that Rahi will undoubtedly prevail and claims that Anupamaa is experiencing the consequences of her actions.  Anupamaa is given a video and uses it to demonstrate her innocence while the accusations persist.  She receives an apology from the media.  Anupamaa wonders how the media can assign responsibility without having all the facts.  Anupamaa is asked by Hasmuk how she obtained the footage.

Raja taped it when he noticed Paritosh wasn't shooting, according to Prem.  Anil is proud of Raja despite Vasundhara and Khyati's opposition to his move.  Then, Anupamaa queries whether Khetan will also disqualify Pakhi's squad.  Whatever they decide, she says, one thing is for sure: the dance ranis will return to Mumbai with pride.
