Anupamaa written update August 22: Rahi confesses that she cannot live without Anupamaa

Anupamaa is accused by Vasundhara of destroying their family because she wishes to influence Mahi into getting married again.

The family receives bridal and groom badges from Anupamaa and Rahi. Prarthana is helped to get ready by Rahi and Mahi, and when she sees the family portrait, she becomes emotional. While Parag is restless thinking about his daughter, Anupamaa requests her to send him images.

While Rahi compliments Anupamaa and remembers Anuj, Anupamaa compliments Rahi on her appearance. Anupamaa later recalls Samar's reaction when he saw Ansh as a groom. Vanraj would have lavished Ansh with gold, but Leela regrets that she has nothing valuable to give him. Nevertheless, she gives him a gold chain. Bhavesh promises a handmade pickle, Jignesh gives a watch, Kinjal gives a gift, Pakhi gives a gold ring, Paritosh gives a blank check. Rahi remembers Dimple after Paritosh and Kinjal talk about how much they miss Samar and Dimple.

Rahi and Anupamaa are compared by Kinjal, who claims that both are blameless for their allegations. Rahi holds Anupamaa accountable for Aryan's demise. Anupamaa muses that Samar, Vanraj, Anuj, Dimple, and her mother are all always remembered. The siblings embrace as Rahi fastens a protective band around Ansh's wrist. In the meantime, Parag fears losing Prarthana.

Anupamaa remembers Samar, helps Ansh get dressed, and counsels him against losing himself after marriage. She bestows blessings on Prarthana and Ansh. Anupamaa responds that the groom's side will go outside and return dancing when Hasmuk inquires about the baraat. Rahi claims that she and Anupamaa are members of both factions.

In another scene, Parag learns that Prarthana was approached by Gautam, Vasundhara, and Khyati, who demanded her child. He is so angry that he reminds them of their previous duplicity and won't allow anyone to take away Prarthana's rights. Anupamaa is accused by Vasundhara of destroying their family because she wishes to influence Mahi into getting married again. Parag adamantly promises to protect Prarthana's child despite Gautam's insistence on taking back the infant.

Rahi and Prem have a romantic moment in the meantime. As Gautam becomes more insistent, Vasundhara reiterates that they will take the kid at all costs. Prarthana remembers the Kotharis as the baraat approaches.

Rahi swiftly saves Anupamaa when her clothing catches fire in the upcoming episodes. Rahi, shaken, confesses that she was afraid of losing her. Rahi admits that she can't picture her life without Anupamaa, but Anupamaa tells her that she's okay.
