Anupamaa episode update August 12: Pakhi gets exposed for stealing the necklace and framing the Dancing Ranis

Anupamaa also tells Pakhi that the house belongs to her and she can throw her out at any given point of time.

In today's episode of Anupamaa Hasmukh apologizes to Preet as she feels insulted with Pakhi's allegations that she called Sarita a thief. Preet tells Hasmukh that she respects him, Anupamaa and Manohar but her self respect is very important to her. Sarita and Preet gather to leave and Anupama tells them that she will also leave with them but they stop asking her to stay behind.

Bharti then tells Anupamaa that it is important for her to stay with her family and that she needs to be around for Ansh's marriage. Deepa also gives her assurance that she can practice with them by coming to the hotel. Hasmukh and the entire family try to stop Preet but she refuses to budge. Before leaving, Sarita tells Pakhi that instead of blaming her she could have asked her. Preet and the other Dancing Ranis give Anupamaa assurance that none of them are angry with her.

Paritosh then has a second thought that if the Dancing Ranis leave then the deal will get cancelled. He hence brings the jewellery to Anupamaa and says that the necklace was in Prathna's room. Pari says that earlier it was not there in Prathna's room and Paritosh then claims that it was in the kitchen. Kinjal counters him saying that it couldn't be in the kitchen. Just an Anupama recalls Paritosh stealing jewellery in USA and thinks that it is Paritosh who stole the necklace.

Anupama then decides to call the police. After the blame game, Paritosh exposes Pakhi and Anupama questions Pakhi as to why she framed the Dancing Ranis. Pakhi then, out of spite, says that she hates poor people, especially those who stay in a chawl. Hearing this, Anupamaa gives Pakhi a tight slap and then Ishani tells her that Pakhi has stolen beauty products from Neeta's parlour too.

Anupamaa feels disgusted and tells her that earlier when she used to clean the house and wash the utensils, they used to call her a loser. Anupama shames her for being this respectful towards elders and questions her achievements in life.

Anupamaa also tells Pakhi that the house belongs to her and she can throw her out at any given point of time. She tells Pakhi that she should drop her ego and says that now that the lecture is over it is time that he takes some strict action. Anupama tells Pakhi to hold Sarita's feet and apologize to her. She also tells Paritosh to record her apology.

Furthermore, Anupama asks Rahi also to apologize but she refuses to do so. Preet says that she does not want to hear sorry from Rahi and she decides to leave the Shah house. After a lot of requesting and persuading, Sarita decides to stay back.

Anupama then issues a final warning to Pakhi and Rahi to keep their behaviour in check.

Pakhi later tells Rahi that Anupama is closer to the chawl people than she is to them. Rahi tells her in return that come what may, she will not let the Dancing Ranis win the competition.

The episode culminates with Leela asking Anupamaa if she will visit her brother Bhavesh for Raksha Bandhan.
