Rupali Ganguly met Sreeleels at WAVES 2025

Indian television actress Rupali Ganguly recently attended WAVES 2025 in Mumbai and shared a glimpse of the star-studded event. The actress shared a series of photos with several attendees, which also includes Bollywood actress Sreeleela.

Rupali took to her Instagram and shared several photos from the four-day event, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 1.

Alongside the photos, she shared her experience of the event and highlighted its role in showcasing the country's storytelling legacy and cutting-edge technology. She also praised the government for uniting over 90 countries in Mumbai.

Rupali wrote, “WAVES2025 is a game-changer for India’s creative economy! Showcasing our storytelling legacy & cutting-edge tech like AI & AR/VR, it’s positioning India as a global M&E hub. Kudos to @MIB_India for uniting 90+ countries in Mumbai!”

Rupali sported a printed saree styled with a designer top. Meanwhile, Sreeleela looked stunning in a dazzling saree.

However, rising star Sreeleela also addressed the Prime Minister’s remarks and said, “I think it was absolutely wonderful, I loved how they said invest in trade.” She also expressed her appreciation for the event and noted, “I think it’s absolutely brilliant and it is very good.”

On the work front, Rupali Ganguly made her acting debut as a child artist in her father Anil Ganguly's film, Saaheb, in 1985. She starred in several TV serials and rose to fame from her iconic role as Monisha Sarabhai in the sitcom Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. She is currently captivating the Indian audience with her TV serial, Anupamaa.

Sreeleela is currently busy with the shooting of her Bollywood debut alongside Kartik Aaryan in Anurag Basu’s upcoming untitled romantic thriller. She will also be seen in Ravi Teja’s Mass Jathara, which is all set to release in July. Additionally, she has recently signed Akhil Akkineni’s starrer Lenin.
