Popular actor and producer Anupama Prakash is all set to make Telugu debut with the upcoming film, Mr. Reddy. Directed by Venkat Reddy and produced by TNR and Rajeev Reddy, the upcoming film marks a significant milestone in her career as she will enter the Tollywood industry for the very first time.
She is speculated to portray an emotionally complex and quiet intensity character. The story of the film revolves around the themes of family loyalty and personal ambition, offering her a canvas that blends subtlety with strength.
Mr. Reddy will premiere in the theatres on July 18.
Besides Mr Reddy, she has already bagged Telugu movies, with each project at a different stage of production. Each film will showcase the versatility of the actress.
However, Anupama is also gearing up for her upcoming Hindi feature What’s Up. The film is currently in post-production.
The upcoming film is set against a contemporary urban backdrop and explores the blurred lines between friendship, identity, and emotional clarity.
The directors have described Anupama’s performance as “honest and rooted, with an instinctive feel for how scenes should breathe.” She will balance wit and vulnerability in her performance.

However, she is also thriving on her production venture. She has co-founded Kaccha Lemmon Productions, a Mumbai-based production house, with her creative partner, Tushar Mehta.
Anupama’s production venture is currently developing a youth-centric web series Band Baja Aafat, the feature film What’s Up, and a vibrant indie-pop music video Mirchi Billi.
Anupama Prakash is known for her roles in TV show Mohini and movies like Risknamaa (2019), Avalukkenna Alagiyamugam (2018) and Manglik (2021).
