Anita Hassanandani is not an unknown name in the world of television. She has been a part of the industry for more than a decade and is a popular name on television.

All her shows have been massive hits, from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Naagin, to her show Kkavyanjali. Now, the actress will soon be seen in Chhoriyaan Chali Gaon.

The show will air on Zee TV and is a remake of Jau Bai Gavat, a Marathi show.

Earlier, Chhoriyan Chali Gaon was reportedly titled Goriyan Chale Gaon. The show is produced by Banijay Asia (formerly Endemol Shine India).

The promo of the show is out and introduces Anita Hassanandani as a participant. The caption of the promo reads 'Lights, camera aur action jinka tha roz ka kaam, ab chulhe, gobar aur gaay-bhains ke beech dhalegi inki shaam!'

Anita has been seen in Suman Indori and was also a part of Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum in the recent past.

British Asian actress Rameer Sandhu is touted to join the show too. She is a dancer, singer and a model. She is used to living a life with abundant luxuries and it will be interesting to see how these personalities who are used to an urban lifestyle, give it up and live in a rural setup.

The show will take the participants to a rural backdrop and will face some desi challenges to up their game. Some top names which are touted to be a part of the show include Pooja Gor, Uorfi Javed's sister Dolly Javed, Aamna Sharif, Aishwarya Khare, Nyrraa M Banerji, Pavitra Punia and Tejasswi Prakash.
