As part of the exciting Mela! Mela! Anime Japan festival, Geek Pictures India, in collaboration with the Japan Consulate in New Delhi, held a special fan event. To the delight of anime fans, Geek Pictures India—producers of the newly dubbed Indian versions of Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama—surprised attendees with the announcement of an exclusive 4K screening. The response was immediate, with all slots filled within ten minutes as fans scrambled to be part of the experience.
Moksha Modgill, CEO of Geek Pictures India, warmly welcomed the audience to the inaugural fan premiere, expressing her gratitude for the enthusiasm surrounding the remastered release. She emphasized how the anime adaptation of Valmiki's Ramayana acts as a cultural bridge, enhancing artistic exchanges between India and Japan.
The film is slated to release in theaters across India on October 18th, distributed in four languages—English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu—by Geek Pictures India in partnership with AA Films and Excel Entertainment.
