Anime fans in New Delhi celebrate Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama at exclusive 4K premiere event

Geek Pictures India officially launched the campaign for their highly anticipated film Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama with the first-ever premiere of the remastered version in breathtaking 4K. The exclusive event, held last Friday, was hosted by Geek Pictures India’s Co-founder, Mr. Arjun Aggarwal, alongside Mr. Tamotsu Kosano, Founder of Geek Pictures Inc., who traveled from Tokyo to mark the occasion.

Geek Pictures India officially launched the campaign for their highly anticipated film Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama with the first-ever premiere of the remastered version in breathtaking 4K. The exclusive event, held last Friday, was hosted by Geek Pictures India’s Co-founder, Mr. Arjun Aggarwal, alongside Mr. Tamotsu Kosano, Founder of Geek Pictures Inc., who traveled from Tokyo to mark the occasion. Special guests, General V.K. Singh and former Rajya Sabha member Shri Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, added to the event’s prestige, celebrating this cultural milestone.

As part of the exciting Mela! Mela! Anime Japan festival, Geek Pictures India, in collaboration with the Japan Consulate in New Delhi, held a special fan event. To the delight of anime fans, Geek Pictures India—producers of the newly dubbed Indian versions of Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama—surprised attendees with the announcement of an exclusive 4K screening. The response was immediate, with all slots filled within ten minutes as fans scrambled to be part of the experience.

Moksha Modgill, CEO of Geek Pictures India, warmly welcomed the audience to the inaugural fan premiere, expressing her gratitude for the enthusiasm surrounding the remastered release. She emphasized how the anime adaptation of Valmiki's Ramayana acts as a cultural bridge, enhancing artistic exchanges between India and Japan.

The film is slated to release in theaters across India on October 18th, distributed in four languages—English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu—by Geek Pictures India in partnership with AA Films and Excel Entertainment.
