Ahaan Panday’s debut film Saiyaara isn’t just creating ripples at the Indian box office — it’s now making a global musical mark. The film’s poignant title track has officially broken into Spotify’s prestigious Global Top 50 chart, marking a significant milestone for Indian cinema on the international music stage.

Sharing her excitement, Bollywood star Ananya Panday, who is also Ahaan’s cousin, took to Instagram to celebrate the moment.

She reposted a screenshot of the chart update and wrote, “Saiyaara on global charts top 50 on Spotify, how crazy! I’m doing my bit to take it to number 1 now. Let’s do it India #OnLoop.” Her story was soon picked up by fan pages and well-wishers, sparking even more buzz around the song.

While Saiyaara features a stellar album with compositions by Tanishk Bagchi and vocals by Vishal Mishra, it’s the title song that has truly captured listeners’ hearts. Sung by Faheem Abdullah and co-composed with his longtime collaborator Arslan Nizami, the track brings a unique musical sensibility that blends Kashmiri soul with mainstream appeal.

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Faheem reflected on the surreal nature of his journey from the valleys of Kashmir to the heart of Bollywood: “To be able to do music itself is a privilege. We never thought we’d ever do music for a film. That was never something we consciously thought about until we got that call.”

Hoping to use this platform to spotlight regional talent, Faheem added, “Kashmir is a very undiscovered place when it comes to music in our country. It has huge potential when it comes to talent.”

Directed by Mohit Suri, the film stars Ahaan Panday alongside Aneet Padda and has quickly become the biggest romantic blockbuster of 2025. Crossing ₹100 crore at the box office within days, Saiyaara is being applauded for its old-school romanticism, heart-touching narrative, and now, its record-breaking soundtrack.
