Ananya Panday spills the beans on her group chat with Suhana Khan, Shanaya Kapoor and Navya Naveli Nanda

In an industry where friendships can be fleeting and often moulded by red carpets and paparazzi, Ananya Panday, Suhana Khan, Shanaya Kapoor, and Navya Naveli Nanda share a bond that predates fame.

Long before any of them had stepped in front of the camera or graced glossy magazine covers, they were simply four girls growing up together, sharing dreams, navigating adolescence, and leaning on one another in a world where scrutiny is second nature.

Today, the quartet is all grown up, each forging a distinct identity. Ananya Panday, who entered the film world with Student of the Year 2, has gradually carved a space for herself in the industry.

Suhana Khan made her much-anticipated debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, while Shanaya Kapoor recently stepped into Bollywood with Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan.

Navya Naveli Nanda, on the other hand, chose a path away from the silver screen, building a presence in the social impact and business sectors.

Despite their different trajectories, their friendship has remained untouched by the glare of fame. From spontaneous catch-ups to being pillars of support during career highs and lows, their camaraderie is rooted in authenticity. And yes, they still keep the fun alive — their group chat is cheekily named “Ananya’s Fans.”

In a candid conversation with Times of India, Ananya shared, “I don’t know, but we like to call ourselves Charlie’s Angels. We actually have a chat group called Ananya’s Fans. I guess our show could be called Charlie’s Angels."

Ananya also offered a glimpse into what makes Suhana special, saying, “Suhana is very kind and soft-hearted and she gets affected by things very easily. Some people think that ‘sensitive’ is a bad word, but I believe being sensitive is a good quality. As an actor, you need to have sensitivity, and this is Suhana’s huge strength."

From childhood confidants to young adults stepping into their own light, their bond stands strong — proof that some friendships really are built to last.
