Actress Ananya Panday has joined the growing list of celebrities applauding Operation Sindoor, expressing her heartfelt gratitude to the real heroes of India for their bravery and unwavering dedication to the nation during the ongoing tensions with Pakistan.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Friday, Ananya wrote, "There are moments in history when silence is no longer an option. What happened in Pahalgam was one of those moments – painful, terrifying, and unforgettable. Watching the tragedy unfold left a hollow in our hearts and a fire in our conscience. Operation Sindoor has been a reminder that India stands tall - not as an aggressor, but as a nation that will always defend its people with dignity and strength."
While voicing her pride in the armed forces, she also emphasized that the loss of any innocent life, regardless of the side, is a profound tragedy. "Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, and with the unwavering courage of our Armed Forces, we've shown that we are not indifferent- we are decisive. And yet, as we stand behind our jawans with gratitude and pride, we must also pause to feel the weight of human life. Every innocent life lost — on any side of a border — is a tragedy. India has never been about vengeance. We are built on the values of peace, compassion, and unity — and that is our greatest strength."

Stating it as a necessary action that was supposed to be taken by the Indian army, she concluded the post saying, "We responded, because we were pushed to. We acted, because we had to. But even now, we hold space in our hearts for empathy. My deepest respect to the Indian Armed Forces for protecting us, and to the government for showing strength with clarity. And my hope — always — is for a future where this strength is only needed in spirit, not in combat."
Several celebrities, including Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Shraddha Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Alia Bhatt, and others, have shared heartfelt messages honoring the Indian Armed Forces and applauding their courage.
Their tributes follow the successful execution of Operation Sindoor by the Indian Army, which targeted nine terror infrastructure sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK) in response to the devastating Pahalgam terror attack in April that claimed the lives of 26 civilians, most of them tourists.
