Realme Hip Hop India Season 2, now streaming on Amazon MX Player, has taken the digital world by storm, racking up over 20.1 million viewers in just five weeks. Building on this incredible momentum, Amazon MX Player has launched an exciting, first-of-its-kind collaboration with none other than Pokémon, adding a playful twist to India’s leading hip-hop dance reality show.

This unprecedented collaboration brings together one of the most beloved entertainment franchises in the world with the vibrant world of hip-hop. The campaign kicked off with a high-energy dance number featuring none other than Pikachu, lighting up the stage—both literally and metaphorically—with its signature electric charm. The performance was met with roaring applause as Pikachu made a surprise appearance, dancing alongside the contestants in a unique fusion of animation and live-action choreography.

Taking things a step further, Amazon MX Player unveiled an imaginative promotional video in partnership with Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, starring judge Malaika Arora. In the video, opening digital Pokémon card packs transforms into an epic hip-hop battle, with each Pokémon’s unique abilities brought to life through movement. “There’s something truly magical about the world of Pokémon – the adventure, the action, the joy of discovery,” shared Malaika. “Pair that with the energy of hip hop, and it just clicks. This was such a fun and imaginative concept to shoot.”

Susumu Fukunaga, Corporate Officer at The Pokémon Company, echoed the excitement: “Partnering with Amazon MX Player gave us the perfect canvas to showcase Pokémon’s playful spirit in a new, movement-driven way.”

Realme Hip Hop India Season 2, judged by Remo D’Souza and Malaika Arora, continues to spotlight the nation’s top street dance talent, pushing boundaries with every performance. With fresh episodes dropping every Thursday, the show remains a powerhouse of culture, style, and innovation—streaming exclusively on Amazon MX Player via its app, Prime Video, Fire TV, and connected TVs.
