Actor Aly Goni, known for his work in television and reality shows, recently shared an emotional message about the safety of his family in Jammu amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. Following Pakistan’s aerial strikes targeting regions including Jammu’s civil airport and military installations, Aly, who is currently out of the country for a shoot, expressed his deep concern and anxiety for his loved ones.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the actor wrote, “I am out of India shooting and my family is in Jammu. I was so mind f\*\*cked here… thank god everyone is safe… Thanks to our IAF.” His candid admission reflected the distress faced by countless families with loved ones residing near border areas.
In another heartfelt post, Aly shared serene images from his hometown Jammu, juxtaposed with a poignant message criticizing the glorification of war. “Sleepless and shattered, stuck out of India as my family in Jammu endures last night’s attack. My whole family, children, and parents face the terror of drones and unrest, yet some people glorify this war from the comfort of their homes, posting on social media. It’s not that easy for those near the border. Thanks to our IAF and Indian Army. Praying for safety and peace.”
The actor also took to Instagram Stories to share his continued concern with a short but powerful message: “#Numb Pray for Jammu, pray for our families.”

Aly Goni’s messages come at a time when India is witnessing a significant military escalation. On Thursday evening, Pakistan launched a series of drone and missile strikes targeting over a dozen locations including Samba, RS Pura, Arnia, and vital military assets. This followed India's Operation Sindoor — a retaliatory precision strike against terror hubs in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, in response to the April 22 Pahalgam attack that claimed 26 civilian lives.
Despite the hostile developments, India's advanced S-400 air defense systems successfully intercepted and neutralized the incoming threats, preventing large-scale destruction and casualties.
Joining Aly in voicing concern was comedian and content creator Samay Raina, who is also from Jammu. Sharing a post on Instagram, he wrote, “My prayers are with everyone in Jammu. Sleep peacefully and believe in the Indian Army. Jai Hind.” In a follow-up story, Raina mentioned a long, emotional phone conversation with his father, who currently resides in the affected region.
