In his next project, Telugu superstar Allu Arjun after Pushpa 2: The Rule will once again rule Indian cinema by collaborating with renowned director Atlee.

The movie, tentatively titled AA22 x A6, was formally revealed on the actor's birthday, igniting excitement in both the industry and fan communities.

According to reports, Allu Arjun, who is known for undergoing drastic physical changes for roles, is getting ready for yet another dramatic makeover for this ambitious project.

According to Filmfare, Allu Arjun will play a fierce warrior in a parallel universe, though the official synopsis has not yet been made public. The Pushpa star may play two roles—twin brothers with very different personalities—and the story is said to take place across several timelines and include a wide variety of characters. He is anticipated to have two unique styles, which will heighten the interest in what is already turning out to be a visually striking movie.

A source close to Pinkvilla revealed, “Allu Arjun is being paid a whopping amount of Rs 175 crore approx. along with a backend deal of 15 per cent stake in profits for a project being backed by production giant Sun Pictures, while Atlee will take away Rs 100 crore fees for his 6th film of the career, thus underscoring his brand value and box-office pull.”

A6 is reportedly being made on a huge budget of ₹800 crore, making it the second most expensive Indian movie ever, after SS Rajamouli's SSMB29 starring Mahesh Babu. About ₹200 crore of the overall budget is set aside for production and set design, and an incredible ₹250 crore is set aside for cutting-edge visual effects, guaranteeing a spectacular cinematic experience.

Expectations for this pan-India spectacle are at an all-time high, with Atlee riding high following Jawan's box office success. The movie is expected to begin production by August 2025, according to sources. Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas are also slated to start work on another well-known project, which is anticipated to begin in the second half of 2026.
