Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun hug at SIIMA as Pushpa 2 wins big

SIIMA 2025 had it all — glitz, glamour, big wins — but the moment fans can’t stop replaying is Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s hug on stage. A simple, heartfelt hug that melted hearts and instantly went viral.

The pair, who already own the screen with their crackling chemistry in Pushpa: The Rise, bumped into each other at the star-studded ceremony. Cameras zoomed in, fans erupted, and within minutes the clip was all over X and Instagram. One fan wrote, “This hug is the real award of the night.” Another gushed, “Allu and Rashmika together >>> everything else.”

Their film Pushpa 2: The Rule also dominated the awards. With 11 nominations, it was the night’s big winner. Allu Arjun bagged Best Actor (Male, Telugu) for his fiery return as Pushpa Raj — a performance critics called both raw and emotionally layered. Rashmika picked up Best Actor (Female, Telugu) for her role as Srivalli, proving once again why fans call her the “national crush.”

The red carpet didn’t disappoint either. Rashmika shimmered in a champagne satin saree with sequined borders and a halter-neck blouse that turned heads.

Allu Arjun kept it sharp in a black velvet suit, accessorised with silver chains, a golden brooch, and a sleek tie. The stylish duo brought as much drama off-screen as they do on it.

Pushpa 2 centres on a strong smuggler who battles a vindictive adversary while controlling politics and handling dangerous situations. An intense confrontation that ends in a challenge is sparked by a public apology.
