All set for Peddi first single; Ram Charan calls it an 'AR Rahman Musical', teases fans

Fans are excited to hear that Ram Charan, who is presently filming his highly anticipated sports action drama Peddi, has given them an update. The movie, which is directed by Buchi Babu Sana, will come out on March 27, 2026.

Before the big release, the RRR star shared a behind-the-scenes look that has had a lot of people talking online.

A Look Ahead with AR Rahman

Ram Charan posted a picture from AR Rahman's studio on Instagram. In the picture, he was with director Buchi Babu Sana and the Oscar-winning music composer himself.

The  actor wrote, "Peddi – an AR Rahman musical," as the post's caption. The maestro has never captured the spirit and feeling of #Peddi like this. "Stay tuned for our first single!"

This is the first time Ram Charan and AR Rahman have worked together; therefore the music is sure to be one of the most exciting parts of the movie. The fans and music enthusiasts are already excited about the news, even if the release date of the first song hasn't been set yet.

The movie is set against the backdrop of a cricket competition in a village and mixes sports, action, and feelings. Ram Charan is the main character, and Janhvi Kapoor portrays the female lead. Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu, Jagapathi Babu, and many other great actors are included in the movie.

The last time anyone saw Charan was in the political action-drama Game Changer, which Shankar directed. The movie didn't live up to the hype, even though it had a star-studded cast that included Kiara Advani, Anjali, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, and Sunil. Ram Charan is likely to work with filmmaker Sukumar on his next movie, which is tentatively called RC17. Fans are excited to watch the two of them work together again after their huge hit Rangasthalam.
