No one quite expected the twist that awaited Bengali actress Tnusree Chakraborty after she casually mentioned on 24 November that she was off to Las Vegas for a bit of time to herself.

What looked like a simple solo holiday has turned into a momentous milestone in her life — she ended up finding her life partner in the middle of the breathtaking Nevada landscape.

In a delightful surprise to fans and friends, Tnusree announced on Friday that she has tied the knot with Atlanta-based IT professional and technologist Sujit Basu.

Even though their relationship is reportedly only five months old, their bond has obviously deepened enough for them to take this significant step, which adds to the story's sweetness.

Sujit, who has lived in Atlanta for twenty-eight years, seems to have gone above and beyond to make the occasion unforgettable.

According to reports, Tnusree had flown to Las Vegas intending to unwind and enjoy her own company. But Sujit had other plans — he secretly organised the entire wedding setup in advance, turning what was meant to be a quiet getaway into the beginning of their married life.

The ceremony itself was intimate and heartfelt, with the couple exchanging vows over a video call while their parents watched on as witnesses.

Producer Rana Sarkar added to the celebrations by sharing their wedding photographs online and sending them warm wishes. He posted three lovely pictures — one of the two holding a “Just Married” sign, another showing them raising glasses of champagne with huge smiles, and a third highlighting their joy as newlyweds.

Tnusree looked radiant in a white gown, her mehendi and diamond jewellery adding a touch of tradition to her modern bridal look.

Sujit complemented her perfectly in a classic black suit. Director Arjun Dutt also congratulated the actress on her new beginning.

For the unaware, Tnusree Chakraborty is a well-loved Bengali actress whose recent release, Deep Freeze, came out only days ago — and has already earned a National Award.
