The recent video features Alia Bhatt in a "Get Ready With Me" (GRWM) format, showcasing her engaging in typical beauty and fashion routines. Posted on Instagram by a user named Sameeksha Avtr, the video has amassed over 17 million views. Sameeksha Avtr's bio mentions that all her videos are made using AI solely for entertainment purposes, yet this has not assuaged the concerns of Alia Bhatt's fans.

Fan Reactions and Concerns

Fans have reacted strongly to the video, expressing their alarm over the rapid advancements in AI technology. One fan commented, "AI is getting dangerous day by day," reflecting a growing unease about the potential misuse of such technology. Another user expressed sympathy for those who might be deceived by the video, stating, "Feeling bad for those who think it’s real." A third user shared their apprehension, writing, "I’m getting scared of AI now."

This is not the first time that a deepfake video of Alia Bhatt has gone viral. Earlier this year, a video morphed Alia’s face onto actress Wamiqa Gabbi’s body, which also generated significant online attention and concern.

Previous Incidents

On May 7, Alia Bhatt made headlines at the Met Gala, dazzling attendees in a Sabyasachi saree. Following this, another deepfake video emerged, this time featuring her in a red saree. This video, shared from an Instagram account called Unifixface, depicted Bhatt in a photoshoot setting. India Today conducted a fact-check and confirmed that the video was a deepfake, with Alia’s face digitally superimposed over Wamiqa Gabbi’s body.
