Alia Bhatt is all set to mark her first appearance at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival this year, following her dazzling Met Gala debut in 2024. Representing L'Oréal Paris as their brand ambassador, Alia will walk the red carpet alongside longtime L'Oréal muse and Cannes veteran Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Confirming her appearance at the prestigious film festival, Alia Bhatt expressed her excitement about attending the Cannes Film Festival for the first time. According to ANI reports, she said, "There’s something absolutely special about firsts — and I’m so excited to make my Festival de Cannes debut this year, an iconic celebration of cinema and self-expression. It is such an honour to represent L’Oréal Paris at the Festival with this year’s theme, ‘Lights, Beauty and Action’."
"To me, beauty is about celebrating individuality, confidence and self-worth. It’s limitless, it’s unique," she added. The Jigra actress also expressed her pride in being associated with a brand that, in her words, celebrates the journey of every woman and empowers them to shine in their own unique way.
Alia Bhatt’s appearance at the Cannes Film Festival this year will add to the growing Indian presence on the prestigious red carpet. She will be seen alongside a host of global icons including Eva Longoria, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda, Aja Naomi King, Andie MacDowell, Simone Ashley, Elle Fanning, Bebe Vio, and Yseult.
The festival, which takes place from May 13 to May 24, will also feature a noteworthy partnership- L'Oréal Paris has joined forces with Nykaa, an Indian beauty e-commerce platform, to serve as its official Beauty Partner in India for this year.
Meanwhile on the work front, she has a lineup of projects. Alia will be next seen in YRF's spy film Alpha this year, followed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in 2026.
