Photos from Bhooth Bangla set is going viral

Akshay Kumar has started filming his upcoming film, Bhooth Bangla. The film was announced in 2024 and the shooting has recently kicked off. However, several photos from the set have already gone viral on the internet.

In the viral photos, Akshay Kumar can be seen in his character, sporting a green shirt layered with a grey sweater. He looked shocked in the photo. However, other photos shared a glimpse at Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, and Vamika Gabbi’s characters.

The viral photos were posted on Instagram and noted that it was from Hera Pheri 3. However, the photos were actually from the shooting of Bhooth Bangla.

Akshay Kumar joins hands with filmmaker Priyadarshan for the upcoming film following Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The horror-comedy includes an ensemble cast including, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, Vamika Gabbi and others.

Meanwhile, there have been reports that superstar Ram Charan, known for his blockbuster films like RRR, has also joined the cast of the upcoming film. Ram Charan was reportedly spotted with Priyadarshan which fueled the casting reports. However, there’s no official confirmation from the makers about the same.

The horror-comedy is jointly produced by Akshay Kumar's Cape Of Good Films and Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms. However, the upcoming film is said to be based on mythology and black magic, inspired by Vedas and the Mahabharat, with black magic as the dominant theme.

Bhooth Bangla will hit the theatres on April 2, 2026.
