Actor Akshay Kumar’s elder son Aarav Kumar, turned 23 today (September 15). Aarav’s cousin, Naomika Saran—granddaughter of the legendary Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia—shared an adorable birthday post for him on Instagram. However, she deleted it hours later.
Naomika posted a series of three pictures with her cousin Aarav on Monday, accompanied by a heartfelt message that read, “happy happy birthday to my favourite person. here’s to going through every phase of life together- i love you the most bhaiyu twinem for life x.”
In the pictures, Aarav is dressed casually in denim jeans and an olive green shirt, while Naomika is wearing a pink top and beige shorts. In one of the photos, Naomika is standing behind Aarav, teasingly tangles his hair while wearing a cheeky look. In contrast, Aarav is either kneeling or sitting in front of her.
However, netizens keep wondering the reason for removing the post from her Instagram.
The cousins' affectionate embrace in one of the shared photos, a sentimental relic from their early years, emphasises their strong relationship over time.
Recently, Naomika Saran, the granddaughter of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia and the daughter of Rinke Khanna, has gained attention. Her uncle Akshay Kumar, aunt Twinkle Khanna, and cousins Aarav and Nitara are all members of her extended family with whom she has a close relationship.
Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar welcomed Aarav into the world in 2002. Prior to earning his degree from United World College in Singapore, he attended Ecole Mondiale World School in Mumbai. Aarav left their home at the age of 15 to pursue higher education in London, and Twinkle Khanna has frequently commended him for his independence.
Akshay Kumar has also spoken about his son in interviews, noting that Aarav is not interested in acting like his father. He wants to pursue a career in fashion design and follow his own dreams.
