And now diehard fans of the actress have shared a decade-old tweet of her husband and actor Abhishek Bachchan where he had expressed his respect and admiration for her. It was in 2014 that Abhishek had tweeted a picture of wife Aish looking spectacular in a golden mermaid strapless gown.

A decade-old tweet from her husband Abhishek adoring the actress' Cannes appearance has surfaced, adding a depth of nostalgia and romanticism to her participation this year.

He had writte: "Almost 52hrs without sleep! Eyes shutting… and the Mrs. Shows up looking like this!! Ok.. Eyes wide open now!"

The actress, known for turning heads on the red carpet, shone in a unique creation by Gaurav Gupta dubbed "Heiress of Clam".

The sculptural garment was inspired by the country's rich history and cosmic symbolism, blending heavenly and spiritual elements. The designer embroidered the gown with artistic interpretations of the universe in silver, gold, charcoal, and black. The gown was decorated with tiny glass crystals to reflect light from all angles.

A handmade Banarasi brocade cloak from Varanasi complemented the futuristic shape and made a strong cultural statement. The cape, embellished with a Sanskrit shloka from the Bhagavad Gita, embodied spiritual beauty and Indian culture.

Earlier this week, Aishwarya wore a white and gold saree with sindoor on her forehead, a symbol of her marriage and Indian traditions.
