Saiyaara has swiftly emerged as one of the year's most anticipated romantic dramas, thanks to its soul-stirring title track, which is still topping music charts.

Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda make their debuts in the film, and the film is directed by Mohit Suri and produced under the esteemed Yash Raj Films (YRF) banner.

The countdown to the trailer's release has now officially started, with less than two weeks until the movie's theatrical debut.

As per News18, according to sources close to the production, YRF and Aditya Chopra are leaving no stone unturned in creating an impactful trailer launch. “It’s a trailer that expands the world of Saiyaara further to the audiences, and opens up the core conflict of the film. The entire team at YRF is confident to leave a mark with this impactful trailer cut, leading to an aggressive marketing campaign for a July 18, 2025 release," shared a source familiar with the studio’s plans.

Director Mohit Suri, known for his emotionally layered storytelling in films like Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain, admitted that crafting the trailer for Saiyaara presented an unexpected challenge—particularly because it introduces two newcomers.

“There is no fixed pattern on how you do it. With thrillers, it is difficult to cut a trailer, but you don’t face that problem with love stories usually,” Mohit Suri explained. “Surprisingly, with Saiyaara too it was a tough ask, as all said and done, it’s a newcomers’ film, and not some larger-than-life set up. We have tried to convey the story and make the characters relatable for the audience.”

The director further drew parallels with Bollywood’s iconic love stories: “Back in 1995, everyone wanted a Raj in their life. Why? Because he was identifiable for both—the girls and the guys. That aside, music also makes a big difference in a love story, and our trailer has a lot of music. I also feel, no love story can work without music.”

Saiyaara, which will be released on July 18, 2025, examines themes of identity, love, and self-discovery. All eyes are now on the film's debutants and how they will enthral audiences in this poignant romantic journey, as the trailer is set to drop on 8 July.
