Ahaan Panday: Know everything about Ananya Panday's cousin Ahaan set to make his Bollywood debut with Saiyaara

Yash Raj Films in collaboration with filmmaker Mohit Suri announced on Tuesday, April 22 that Ananya Panday's cousin brother Ahaan Panday will be making his Bollywood debut with romantic film Saiyaara. Let us look at who is Ahaan panday before his debut.

Who is Ahaan Panday

Ahaan Panaday is Chikki Panday and Deanne Panday’s son. His sister, Alanna Panday, is quite a popular content creator and social media influencer. He is also the nephew of Chunky Pandey and Bhavna Pandey. Ahaan is also cousin to Bollywood actress Ananya Panday and her sister Rysa.

Ahaan's early life

Ahaan, who attended the University of Mumbai and Oberoi International School, developed his passion for filmmaking at a young age. In order to prepare for his own directing career, he honed his abilities as an assistant director on films such as Freaky Ali (2016), Rock On 2 (2016), and the critically acclaimed series The Railway Men (2023).

Big Bollywood Debut

Ahaan Panday will make his Bollywood debut with Saiyaara, a romantic drama that also features Aneet Padda in a prominent role. Directed by Mohit Suri it is presented by Aditya Chopra and produced by Akshaye Widhani under the Yash Raj Films banner. The film is set to release on July 18, 2025.

Announcing the film and Ahaan's debut, YRF took to Instagram and wrote, “Yash Raj Films' romantic film Saiyaara, which introduces Ahaan Panday in the Hindi film industry & also stars Aneet Padda as the female lead, is set to release on July 18, 2025, in theatres worldwide.”

Nepotism backlash

After Ahaan Panday's debut movie, Saiyaara, was announced, Alanna and Ananya Panday congratulated him on Instagram. But social media was inundated with criticism shortly after Yash Raj Films broke the news.
