K-pop idols Giselle of aespa and Wonbin of RIIZE are the subject of dating rumours once again, with fans delving into their recent posts and noticing similarities in their language. Netizens have uncovered several 'clues' that have sparked further speculation, particularly in their use of certain playful and informal phrases in fan messages.
Fans have noticed that both Giselle and Wonbin have used the same informal word "algejji," a playful variation of "algetji," in their recent interactions. Giselle was seen using the term on the fan platform Dear U Bubble, while Wonbin used it in a comment, leading to heightened curiosity.
Moreover, another detail noticed by fans is that Wonbin started consistently ending his sentences with “ung” from November 2024, a quirky linguistic habit that Giselle has also adopted recently, fueling suspicions even further.
Adding to the intrigue, Giselle's profile picture featured a black cat, a symbol that fans often associate with Wonbin. This further deepened the rumours, as fans drew connections between the two.
The rumours were further fueled by Han Seo Hee, an ex-trainee with industry connections, who shared an image in her DM showing a couple walking around at night. Although their faces aren’t visible, Han Seo Hee claimed it was Giselle and Wonbin. While the claim remains unverified, it added to the speculation.
Giselle debuted as part of aespa, the girl group formed by SM Entertainment in 2019, and has since achieved global success with hits like Next Level and Black Mamba. The group is currently on their second world tour, SYNK: PARALLEL LINE 2024.
On the other hand, Wonbin is a member of RIIZE, a boy group that debuted in 2023 under SM Entertainment. Known for their title track Get a Guitar, the group has quickly gained attention in the K-pop industry.
Despite the mounting speculation, neither Giselle nor Wonbin have confirmed or denied the rumours.
