Aditi Sharma, known for her role in Apollena, is reportedly facing a divorce from Abhineet Kaushik just months after their secret 2024 wedding. Abhineet has accused Aditi of an adulterous affair with her co-star Samarthya Gupta—a claim that Samarthya has strongly denied, calling it "baseless" and "damaging."

In an interview with Zoom, Samarthya expressed his distress over the allegations, revealing that the controversy has deeply affected his family. He shared that his father, who suffered a brain stroke two years ago, has been particularly impacted. The former Splitsvilla contestant admitted that the accusations have left him "mentally distraught," adding another layer of emotional turmoil to the situation.

During the interview he revealed that since he is not an active social media user, his mother showed him the news and currently he is in his hometown. "We, as a family, have been mentally shattered a lot since morning because my father is also going through a health condition. He had a brain stroke two years back. So, you know, already there are so many challenges in our family," Samarthya stated.

Samarthya refuted Abhineet's claims, maintaining that his bond with Aditi was strictly professional and amicable. He admitted that hearing the accusations left him deeply shaken, despite usually not being easily affected by such matters.

However, he acknowledged that when his family became involved, the situation took an emotional toll on him. He further said, "These are wrong allegations. We've never been caught, the way he is claiming. We are working professionals. We are actors. On-screen chemistry jo dikhti hai, log usi ko hi believe karte hain."

Samarthya emphasized that he and Aditi shared a strong friendship and would continue to do so. He explained that working closely with co-stars for long hours naturally fosters a familial bond, not just with Aditi but also with other cast members, including those playing his father or elder brother. He further revealed that Aditi's marriage had been troubled, claiming that she had broken down on set multiple times due to conflicts with her husband.

Samarthya stated that Abhineet had issues with all of Aditi's co-stars, even those portraying her father and brother on the show. He further accused Abhineet of being controlling in their relationship, asserting that Aditi deserved her own space and independence.
