Krishna Kumar G and daughter Diya Krishna face kidnapping accusation

Malayalam actor and politician Krishna Kumar G and his daughter Diya Krishna have recently landed in legal trouble. Krishna’s daughter Diya has recently accused her four employees of her jewellery store, Oh By Ozy, of allegedly cheating her of Rs 69 lakh.

However, the accused have filed a counter-complaint against the actor, his wife, and four daughters, and accused them of abduction and extortion.

Krishna Kumar registered the FIR on June 3, alleging that her daughter was defrauded by her employees. Museum Police have booked individuals and are investigating the case. The complaint suggested that the accused, Vineetha, Divya, Radhakumar, and Adarsh, allegedly diverted customer payments from July 2024 by replacing the company's QR code with their personal GPay QR codes.

According to Manorama News, the police complaint reads, “They gained her trust and, with the intent of unlawful profit, diverted payments from customers by using their personal QR codes."

The FIR further stated that Adarsh, husband of the main accused, allegedly threatened the complainant over the phone on May 31, 2025. Diya was cheated out of Rs 7.69 crore over a year.

Krishna Kumar addressed the case and revealed, “When we discovered the fraud, we confronted the employees. They had siphoned off nearly 769 lakh from Diya's firm. After we questioned them, they returned around 79 lakh. However, the husband of one of the employees later threatened my daughter. That's when we approached the police.”

The actor-politician also claimed that they have evidence, including CCTV footage, proving their malpractice.” He added, “They filed a counter case against us after we lodged our complaint. We also have proof of our interaction with them. There was no force used.”

Police are investigating the case filed by both parties.
