Talking about the screening, Aamir was seen bonding with his son-in-law, and they also posed with the cast of the Marathi movie. Aamir was sweetly seen asking Nupur's mother to pose next to him as they stood on the podium.

Earlier this month, Aamir Khan had also launched the trailer of his son Junaid Khan's debut movie, Loveyapa. Junaid has already made his OTT debut with the Netflix series Maharaj last year, but this is his theatrical debut.

During the trailer launch, Aamit had spoken about Sridevi, whose younger daughter Khushi makes her debut in Loveyapa.

While sharing his thoughts about the film, Aamir Khan said, "I have watched the rough cut. I liked this film. It is very entertaining. The way our lives have turned out these days due to cell phones and the interesting things that happen in our lives due to this has been shown here. All the actors have done a good job. When I watched the film and saw Khushi (Kapoor), I felt that I was watching Sridevi. Her energy was there, I could see. I am a huge fan of Sridevi."

Khushi, the younger daughter of the late Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, made her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar's 2023 Netflix film The Archies. The film also marked the debut of Suhana Khan, daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, and Agastya Bachchan, grandson of Amitabh Bachchan.

While talking about late Sridevi, Aamir Khan mentioned, "I am a very big fan of Sridevi. I always wanted to work with her. She was a brilliant artist. She always kept her talent latent when the camera was off. As soon as the camera starts rolling, she starts showing her true talent. She used to exude an energy that I found to be similar to Khushi Kapoor's performance," he added.

Loveyapa is an upcoming romantic comedy and the first theatrical release for Junaid and Khushi. Junaid previously made his debut with Maharaja. Directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra, the film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Sharvari.

During the launch he had also spoken about love stories and how he is a huge fan of romantic movies. "As we grow in life, our definition and understanding of love evolve. Jab aap 18 ke hote hain, ek alag josh aur emotion hota hai, phir aap samajhte hain, zindagi ko, logon ko, aur apne aap ko. (When you are 18, you feel a different kind of energy and emotion, but as you grow old, your understanding of yourself and others evolves.)"

Talking about Aamir Khan, he will be next seen in 'Sitaare Zameen Par,' which is slated to release on Christmas this year. Aamir Khan reunites with Darsheel Safary in the movie after Taarae Zameen Par.

Genelia Deshmukh is also going to be seen in a pivotal role in the movie. Directed by R. S. Prasanna, the film is the sequel to the 2007 blockbuster, "Taare Zameen Par.".
