Actor Aadar Jain recently addressed the controversy surrounding his ‘time-pass’ remark, which sparked speculation during his pre-wedding celebrations with Alekha Advani. Aadar, who hails from the renowned Kapoor family, married Alekha in a private ceremony in Goa, attended by close friends and family, including Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Alia Bhatt.

The Controversial Statement

During their mehendi ceremony, a video surfaced where Aadar expressed his love for Alekha and made a comment about his past. He stated, “I have always loved her and wanted to be with her. So she sent me on this long journey of 20 years through time-pass. It was worth the wait because I get to marry this beautiful, beautiful woman who looks like a dream. I love you, and it was worth the wait. It’s a secret, I have always loved her. I have done time pass for four years of my life. But now I’m with you, baby.”

The phrase “time pass for four years” quickly gained traction on social media, leading to speculation that Aadar was referencing his past relationship with actress Tara Sutaria. Fans criticized the statement, assuming it implied that his previous relationship was merely a casual phase.

Aadar’s Clarification

Following the backlash, Aadar clarified his remarks in an interview with The Times of India. He stated that his words were taken out of context and twisted into a ‘false narrative.’ He emphasized that his comment was never intended to disrespect anyone. “There are so many false narratives, false assumptions, but no fact-checkers. Unfortunately, people make up stories, and the ones affected are the families involved. Out of respect, we remained silent, but people took the liberty to say what they wanted. It’s unfair to Alekha, her family, my family, and even Tara and her family.”

Aadar further stressed that he holds respect for his past, present, and future relationships. He acknowledged that his words were misconstrued, saying, “They took 10 seconds of what I said and made their own opinions. My parents always taught me to respect my past, my present, and my future. That’s how I was raised, and I would never mean to direct such a comment toward anyone.”

A Wedding Filled with Love

Despite the controversy, Aadar and Alekha’s wedding festivities continued on a joyous note. The couple celebrated a white-themed wedding in Goa, surrounded by their loved ones. They shared glimpses of their special day on social media, capturing heartfelt moments of their union.
