A.R. Rahman's 'Jinguchaa' Goes Pan-India: Wedding Anthem from Thug Life Drops in Hindi

Get ready for wedding season to get a whole lot groovier! A.R. Rahman's sensational wedding anthem, 'Jinguchaa', originally featured in Kamal Haasan's highly anticipated film Thug Life, has now dropped its Hindi version, ready to dominate sangeet ceremonies and wedding playlists across North India.

Having already taken Tamil Nadu by storm after its grand launch in Chennai, the Hindi rendition promises the same infectious energy and cinematic flair. 'Jinguchaa' is more than just a song; it's a vibrant visual spectacle wrapped in wedding grandeur, pulsating beats, and the unmistakable swagger of Thug Life. The music video showcases Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan, and Sanya Malhotra setting the dance floor ablaze, perfectly capturing the joyous chaos and vibrant colours of a big Indian wedding, all powered by the magic of the Academy Award-winning composer A.R. Rahman.

The Tamil version's premiere earlier this year was a star-studded affair, graced by the film's cast, Rahman himself, and the legendary Mani Ratnam. Now, the Hindi version injects fresh vocal dynamism with Sukhwinder Singh, Ronkini Gupta, Aashima Mahajan, and Vaishali Samant lending their voices to translate the original's infectious joy for a wider audience.

Set within the narrative of Thug Life, 'Jinguchaa' unfolds amidst wedding celebrations, but with the signature touch of Mani Ratnam, Kamal Haasan, and A.R. Rahman, every frame hints at a deeper story, compelling you to watch it again and again.

Produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International, Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananth, Thug Life boasts a stellar ensemble cast led by Kamal Haasan as Rangaraaya Sakthivel Naicker. The film also features Silambarasan TR, Trisha Krishnan, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, and Abhirami in significant roles, alongside a host of other talented actors.

With Mani Ratnam's directorial brilliance and A.R. Rahman's captivating music, Thug Life is gearing up for its worldwide theatrical release on June 5, 2025. Get ready for a cinematic experience infused with electrifying energy and unforgettable music!
