Kriti Sanon starrer romance comedy film Luka Chuppi was released in 2019 and still remains close to fans’ hearts. The film was a commercial office hit, grossing over Rs 128 crore worldwide. The film will complete its 7 years on March 1.
However, Kriti plays the role of Rashmi Trivedi, a journalist, in the social comedy Luka Chuppi and once she shared how deeply she felt connected to the bold personality of her character.
The actress said, “Rashmi was a great blend of modern thinking and rooted core, much like me. She was spunky, independent, impulsive, believed in taking her own life decisions and still had an emotional core. I had a lot of fun playing her and was overwhelmed with the love that she got.”

The film also stars Kartik Aaryan in the lead role. Laxman Utekar, who is currently riding on the success of the blockbuster hit, Chhaava, made his directorial debut with the film. The film is about a small-town couple who pretended to be married to cohabitate. The drama soon turns into chaos, leading to awkward situations as they try to hide the truth from their families.

Kriti was last seen in Do Patti and Crew. Her upcoming project Tere Ishq Mein has already created massive buzz with its teaser. The film is said to be a sequel to the 2013 film, Raanjhanaa, also starring Dhanush, Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol, in a pivotal role. Kriti will also star in the Hindi remake of Kill Bill and Housefull 5 alongside Soundarya Sharma, Kriti Kharbanda, Akshay Kumar and Fardeen Khan.
