More than fifteen years after he won over audiences as the cheeky “Millimeter” in 3 Idiots, actor Rahul Kumar is back in the spotlight and this time, for something far more personal.
The former child actor, who shared the screen with Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, and Sharman Joshi in one of India’s most loved films, has married Keziban Doğan, a Turkish national, in a cross-cultural celebration that’s melting hearts online.
Rahul’s journey has been as heartfelt as it has been unpredictable. He was a theatre prodigy long before 3 Idiots made him famous, having performed on stage as a young child before entering the film industry.
His character “Millimeter”, the witty, ever-helpful college assistant might not have had the biggest screen time, but his charm and comic timing made him unforgettable.
Fans still remember his playful one-liners, especially the now-iconic “Millimetre ab Centimetre ban chuka hai,” a phrase that seems to have aged poetically well.
Now, life appears to have come full circle for the actor. According to reports, Rahul met his now-wife Keziban Doğan online more than a decade ago, after she reached out to him having been moved by his performance in 3 Idiots.
What started as a casual friendship blossomed slowly over the years into something much deeper. After fourteen years of knowing each other, the pair finally exchanged vows on 4 May 2025, in a ceremony that beautifully blended Indian warmth with Turkish tradition.
Their wedding photos were brimming with colour, laughter, and tender love. They quickly made their way around social media, with fans lovingly calling them “Mr and Mrs Millimetre.”
Many who grew up watching 3 Idiots took to the internet to celebrate the actor’s new chapter, describing the story as something “straight out of a Bollywood script.”
While Rahul has kept a low profile since his breakout role, his career has continued to evolve quietly but steadily. He appeared in films such as Vishal Bhardwaj’s Omkara (2006) and The Blue Umbrella (2005), and later impressed audiences with his performances in Amazon Prime’s Bandish Bandits (2020) and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar (2021).
