XAT Registration 2026 Deadline Extended, Apply now at xatonline.in

The Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur, has extended the registration deadline for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2026. Candidates can now apply online until 11 December, midnight, through the official website, xatonline.in. This extension gives applicants a few extra days to complete their forms and check the information they have already submitted.

The registration process for XAT 2026 began on 10 July 2025. This year, XLRI has introduced a new initiative for early applicants. Those who completed their registration on the first day will receive personalised mentorship and access to the XAT ecosystem. This includes live sessions with the XAT Convenor and participation in a Telegram-based mentorship group moderated by XLRI students and the exam team.

How to Apply for XAT 2026

Candidates can register for the exam by following these steps:

1. Visit the official website: xatonline.in
2. Click on “New Registration”
3. Enter your name, email ID, and mobile number, then verify using the OTP
4. Set a password to create login credentials
5. Log in and fill in academic and personal details
6. Choose the preferred XLRI programme(s) and test city
7. Upload a scanned photograph and signature
8. Pay the application fee online
9. Submit the form and download the confirmation page

XAT 2026 Exam Details

XAT 2026 will be held on 4 January 2026, in computer-based mode. The exam will take place from 2 pm to 5 pm, and the admit card is expected to be released by 20 December 2025.

The question paper will include 95 multiple-choice questions across four sections:

• Verbal and Logical Ability
• Decision Making
• Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation
• General Knowledge
