The seat allotment is based on candidates' JEE Main 2025 ranks and their preferred college/course choices. Selected candidates must confirm their seats by August 7, 2025, by submitting the seat acceptance fee and choosing between Freeze or Float options.

UPTAC 2025 Seat Confirmation Fee

After seat allotment, candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee based on their category:

• General & OBC - Rs. 20,000
• SC & ST - Rs. 12,000

Freeze vs. Float Option: What to Choose?

Candidates must select one of the following options after seat allotment:

Freeze: Accept the allotted seat and opt out of further counselling rounds. However, category-based seat upgrades may still apply.

Float: Retain the current seat but remain eligible for higher preference upgrades in subsequent rounds.

Note: Failure to pay the seat acceptance fee by August 7, 2025, will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat, and the candidate will be excluded from further counselling rounds.
