The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Final Result 2024 on its official website upsc.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the interview round can now check their final result through the result PDF available online.

The result PDF contains the names and roll numbers of the candidates who have cleared the UPSC CSE 2024. It also mentions the All India Rank (AIR), name, category, and marks of the toppers.

How to Check UPSC CSE Result 2024

  1. Visit the official UPSC website — upsc.gov.in
  2. Go to the “What’s New” section on the homepage
  3. Click on the link for UPSC CSE (IAS) Result 2024
  4. Download the result PDF
  5. Search for your roll number or name in the list
  6. Save the PDF for future reference

Based on the result of the written part of the Civil Services Examination 2024 held in September 2024, and the interviews for the Personality Test conducted from January to April 2025, the Commission has released the list of recommended candidates in order of merit.

A total of 1009 candidates have been recommended for appointment to:

  • Indian Administrative Service (IAS)
  • Indian Foreign Service (IFS)
  • Indian Police Service (IPS)
  • Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’

The personality test, commonly referred to as the interview, was held in two sessions daily, 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. A total of 2845 candidates were called for the interview, after which selected candidates underwent a medical examination. These medical tests were conducted at designated hospitals in New Delhi by UPSC-appointed medical boards.

The Civil Services Examination is held annually by UPSC to recruit candidates for more than 25 central services. Approximately 3,000 candidates were shortlisted for the interview round after clearing the main written examination.

Candidates are advised to keep a copy of their result PDF and regularly check the official website for any further updates related to appointment or documentation.
