Three prominent state universities in Uttar Pradesh have announced a massive recruitment drive for 948 non-teaching posts for the 2025-26 period. This initiative aims to fill critical administrative and support staff positions to strengthen university operations.
The recruitment will be conducted for Guru Jambheshwar University (Moradabad), Maa Vindhyavasini University (Mirzapur), and Maa Pateshwari University. The vacancies are divided into two distinct categories: temporary government posts and positions to be filled via outsourcing.
The total number of vacancies is strategically split to ensure both permanent stability and contractual support for the universities.
468 Temporary Non-Teaching Posts: A total of 156 temporary posts have been sanctioned in each of the three universities. These positions are effective until February 28, 2026, and may be terminated based on administrative requirements.
480 Outsourced Posts: Additionally, 160 posts in each university will be filled through external service providers (outsourcing), bringing the total outsourced positions to 480.

For 468 Temporary Posts: Recruitment for these permanent non-teaching roles will be managed through a multi-faceted approach by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC). The selection will involve direct recruitment, promotion, and deputation processes. All government-mandated reservation rules and procedures will be strictly followed.
For 480 Outsourced Posts: The outsourcing process will be conducted in a fair and transparent manner through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal. The universities have assured compliance with all relevant government orders from the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Department of Labor, and Department of Personnel.
