UP Schools Closed

UP School Holidays 2025: Several districts in Uttar Pradesh have announced the closure of schools for students due to a severe cold wave.

In Bareilly, District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar has ordered the closure of all government, private, and council schools from classes one to eight on Wednesday.

Similarly, in Badayun, District Magistrate Nidhi Srivastava has directed the closure of all schools up to class VIII for two days, on January 15th and 16th.

Shahjahanpur has also issued a similar order, keeping schools up to the eighth grade closed until January 16th.

These decisions come in response to the ongoing cold wave, with dense fog reported in many areas. While schools for higher grades in some districts may remain open, online classes or adjusted school timings have been implemented to mitigate the impact of the cold weather on students.
