The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the revised schedule for the University Grants Commission–National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2024 exam, which was earlier scheduled for January 15, 2025. The exam was postponed due to Pongal, Makar Sankranti, and other festivals. As per the updated schedule, the postponed exams will now take place on January 21 and January 27, 2025.
Revised Exam Schedule
The NTA has specified the subjects and shifts for the revised dates:
January 21, 2025 (Morning Shift: 9 am to 12 pm):
Indian Knowledge System, Malayalam, Urdu, Labour Welfare/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations/ Labour and Social Welfare/ Human Resource Management, Criminology, Tribal and Regional Language/Literature, Folk Literature, Konkani, and Environmental Sciences.
January 27, 2025 (Evening Shift: 3 pm to 6 pm):
Sanskrit, Mass Communication and Journalism, Japanese, Performing Art - Dance/Drama/Theatre, Electronic Science, Women Studies, Law, and Nepali.
The NTA has confirmed that updated admit cards will soon be available on the official UGC NET website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates are advised to check the website regularly for updates.
