Tamil Nadu SI Recruitment 2025

The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has started accepting applications for the recruitment of 1,299 Sub-Inspector (SI) vacancies in the state police force. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website tnusrb.tn.gov.in from April 7 to May 3, 2025.

The recruitment drive aims to fill SI positions in the Taluk Police, Armed Reserve (AR), and Tamil Nadu Special Police (TSP). Selected candidates will receive a salary as per the Level-10 pay scale (Rs. 36,900 – Rs. 1,16,600).

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a UGC or Government-recognized university. The age limit is 20 to 30 years as of July 1, 2025, with relaxations for reserved categories as per norms.

The recruitment will be conducted in three stages:

• Written Examination (Tamil, General Knowledge, and Psychology)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Viva-Voce (Interview)
