TNDGE 12th Result 2025 Date and time: When and where to check TN +2 Results online ?

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu is expected to declare the Tamil Nadu (TN) 12th Result 2025 on 8 May at 9 am. Students who appeared for the Class 12 board exams can check their results on the official website: dge.tn.gov.in or tnresults.nic.in.

This year, the TN 12th examinations were held from 3 March to 25 March 2025, across multiple exam centres in Tamil Nadu. Around 8.2 lakh students took part in the exams. For reference, the results for the previous academic year were declared on 26 July 2024.

Students can follow these steps to check their results:

1. Go to the official website: dge.tn.gov.in
2. Click on the TN 12th Result 2025 link on the homepage.
3. Enter your roll number and date of birth.
4. Your result will appear on the screen.
5. Download it and take a printout for future use.

Students are advised to carefully check their personal details on the result. If there are any errors, they should immediately contact the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) for corrections.

To pass the TN 12th exams, students must score at least 35 percent in each subject. They also need to meet the overall aggregate requirement set by the board. In some subjects, marks from internal assessments or practical exams are also considered. Students must pass all required components to qualify.

Those who are not able to clear the exam can apply for a re-examination. Details about this will be available soon after the result is released. Students should check the official website regularly for updates and deadlines.
