SSC SI Revised Result 2024 OUT for Paper 2

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a revised results of Paper-2 for the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) Examination, 2024. The revised result, which supersedes the earlier announcement, now confirms that a total of 22,244 candidates have been officially shortlisted to proceed to the mandatory medical examination stage.

Revised SSC SI Result 2024

The official notification, published on the SSC website, provides a detailed breakdown of the shortlisted candidates:

  • Total Candidates Shortlisted: 22,244
  • Female Candidates (List-1): 1,885
  • Male Candidates (List-2): 20,283
  • Candidates with Withheld Status (List-3): 76

The commission has reiterated that only those candidates who successfully secured the minimum qualifying marks in Paper-2, as predefined in the initial recruitment notification, have been considered for this next phase.

A notable part of this amendment includes an official correction to a legal reference from the earlier result write-up dated August 8, 2024.

The SSC has clarified that aside from the updated shortlist numbers and the corrected legal reference, all other terms and conditions outlined in the original result declaration of August 8, 2024, remain fully valid and effective. Candidates are advised to refer to the previous notice for all other guidelines and instructions.

Next Steps for Shortlisted Candidates

Candidates who find their roll numbers on the revised shortlist must now prepare for the subsequent stage: the Medical Examination. This is a critical step in the recruitment process for the physically demanding roles of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and various CAPFs.
