The National Testing Agency (NTA) is nearing the close of the online registration process for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2025. Students interested in applying for admission to classes 6 and 9 in Sainik Schools must register by January 13, 2025.

The AISSEE is the sole entrance exam for admission to Sainik Schools across India. The NTA conducts the exam and provides an official website (aissee2025.ntaonline.in) for registration purposes. The website also offers a window for applicants to edit their applications from January 16 to 18, 2025.

Step 1. Visit the official AISSEE website: aissee2025.ntaonline.in
Step 2. Locate the AISSEE registration form link on the homepage.
Step 3. Click on the link to access the Sainik School application form.
Step 4. Fill out the AISSEE registration form with all required details, including personal and academic information.
Step 5. Pay the application fee, which is Rs 650 for SC/ST candidates and Rs 800 for others.
Step 6. Scan and upload the necessary documents, including a photograph and signature.
Step 7. Submit the completed Sainik School application form.
Step 8. Download and save a hard copy of the application form for future reference.

Selection Process for Sainik Schools

Admission to the 33 Sainik Schools across India for classes 6 and 9 will be determined solely by the candidate's performance in the entrance exam. Students who qualify based on merit will be invited to participate in e-counseling sessions. These sessions will be conducted based on the student's rank, considering factors like school preference, gender, and category (home state and outside state).
